The Aleatico Gattavecchi is a wine from a grand prestige and tradition. the product is obtained from 90% Aleatico grapes, red purple colour, and orange reflexes from the aging process. The perfume, refined aroma, is intense and characteristic. Once, imported in Italy from Greece, it has found fertile grounds, first in Puglia, and then in other regions, such as Tuscany and Lazio. It is a vine from a good strength with a constant and outstanding production. Fact that the grapes are ripe in the second part of September, makes that the grape has a large sugar degree. Type of wine: dessert wine. Area of production: Toscana. Grape varietes: 90% Aleatico, 10% different white berries grapes. Style: a strong and sweet dessert wine with a superior alcohol degree. The perfume is of a sweet and ripe grape. Alcohol: 16,00% Production: late riping and soaking are the main characteristics.Followed by a rifining in barrels and finaly put into bottles. Ideal with all types of desserts, especially ice cream. Has to be served at a temperature of 10/12° C.
